Mark O’Connor’s An Appalachian Christmas – CT presents

An Appalachian Christmas, performed by Mark and Maggie O’Connor, features fresh bluegrass, folk and Americana arrangements of holiday classics, both vocal and instrumental. Mark O’Connor has won three Grammys, seven CMA awards as well as several national fiddle, guitar and mandolin champion titles.

Also a Grammy Award winner with a unique background in both traditional classical violin training, Maggie O’Connor performs in concert halls throughout the U.S. and beyond.

Together they have appeared as guest soloists with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, the Santa Rosa Symphony, and many other symphony orchestras performing Mark’s composition “Strings and Threads Suite.” In 2024, Mark and Maggie released their vocal album of mostly O’Connor original songs.
